To Book On A Course
Booking on any of
our courses and seminar events is easy. You can book by
phone, post, fax or e-mail.
Your course place will be confirmed once we receive your
completed booking form, accompanied by a cheque for your
course deposit or payment by any major credit / debit card
via a telephone call to our office. (All cheques are payable
to "Stuart Johnston")

form, simply click “Bookings”, locate the
PDF file and print off a copy. If you would like us to
send you a form, just phone and ask. When your booking
is confirmed you will receive course confirmation and
joining instructions. Contact us in advance if you want
to check course availability. You can also use our booking
form to buy copies of “The Hillwalker’s Guide
to Mountaineering” and “The Mountain Skills

require a minimum of 4 bookings to proceed. All other
advertised courses require a minimum of 2 bookings.

scheme and board prior to attending the course. Failure
to register with the appropriate scheme may result in
your course place being cancelled with no refund. We
advise all clients to attain outdoor pursuits travel
insurance which includes cancellation and curtailment

possible. Likewise our
accommodation, from Alpine huts to Scottish hostels,
whether we are arranging it for you or merely recommending
a place to stay, we go to great lengths to make sure
that you will be comfortable, relaxed, well fed and
watered, close to course destinations – and even
able to enjoy a refreshment or two in the evening!
Whether you’re looking for a bunkhouse, guest
house or hotel – and whether accommodation is
included in the cost of your course or not – we
can find a facility to suit your taste.

|Age & Fitness
Anyone aged between 18 and 70 is welcome to
join our courses. However, young people aged between
14 and 17 are also welcome if accompanied by a participating

All clients should be in good health and fitness, and
some prior aerobic training is recommended, especially
if you have little experience of mountain walking.
