Interpreting mountain flora and fauna

This short course is ideal for those wish to specifically learn about flora and fauna species from moorland to mountain arctic vegetation zones. This course concentrates on plant and wildlife interpretation and their special habitats in which this rich variety of life thrives. We also look at current ongoing conservation work in the mountains that play a huge part in the prevention of habit loss.

Training the trainers in mountain flora, fauna and human history

This course specifically aims to introduce a wide range of educational resources and specific learning activities aimed at introducing flora and fauna and human history and combined their impact on the wilderness landscape.
The course is based around Loch Tay and Ben Lawers massif, located in the Southern Highlands of Scotland.
An ideal course for those practitioners involved in leading others into the Scottish wilderness and mountain tops.
For those participants involved with walking and mountain leader award schemes a CPD certificate will be provided.
